Our culture
Core to our business is unravelling complexity for the clients we serve. Our culture is built on finding answers. Listening. Questioning. Exploring possibilities. Sharing ideas. Different perspectives, talents, and skillsets bring a richness which we believe enables problem-solving. This is an environment where individuality is championed, where learning is our focus, where variety thrives.
Our commitment
We strive to create an equal, diverse and inclusive workplace. Our D&I committee supports the partners in implementing real change. Our people are everything – we respect them, we value them, we support them. They feel able to give their best. Whatever background you are from, Dixon Wilson welcomes you.
Here at Dixon Wilson, we make a promise to our employees – regardless of level. You’ll never stop learning – this is underpinned by our values which you can discover here. We nurture a strong, focused training and personal development environment. Around 50% of professional staff are on a formal training programme working towards a professional qualification at any one time. If you want to specialise or grow in a preferred sector, our ethos is let’s make it happen.
No micromanaging
The door is always open
Individuality is celebrated
No micromanaging
You’re encouraged to find the answers. We create a workplace where what you think matters. Be who you are.
The door is always open
Conversations lead to solutions. We are a team working towards the same goals. No one is left on their own.
Individuality is celebrated
Ideas move us forward. We’re open to new skills - our focus isn’t just the functional side of the job.
Outside of the day to day
Beyond work, there is an active social life embedded in our culture – with every opportunity to switch off and meet up over shared interests and planned events. There’s something for everyone from activities such as puppy yoga and Bake Off to kickboxing in the park and chess night. If you love sport – netball, tennis, cricket, golf… our social committee is on it!
It is important that your voice is heard. If you feel strongly about something, join the discussion. We make sure there’s a forum to have your say. For example, our Women’s Focus group has come together to lift any barriers that hinder Dixon Wilson from being a great place for women to work.
We believe in giving back to our community. We partner with RISE a charity which helps to boost social mobility in the UK by helping young people develop the essential skills that businesses need. Our people have volunteer days to donate their time and expertise.
